The meaning of life

Tristero at Hullabaloo independently verifies the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. Looks like trinitarianism and dualism are right, after all.

  1. I recently posted something on the meanings (plural) of life. I think that there is an important distinction to be made between meaning and explanation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the explanation of life, the universe and everything turned out to be an equation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer did in fact turn out to be 42. What would surprise me is if anyone, seeing the equation, felt their lives were more meaningful as a result. Except for physicists, of course! 🙂

  2. I understand the point trying to be made from this blog entry, but if the explanation of life and the universe turned out to be a eqaution , then what happens to those who cant solve their equation. Does that mean they never existed?
