In his concession speech, Obama launched a new slogan – “yes we can”. As Rachel Maddow pointed out, this is Sà se puede, the slogan of the United Farm Workers. She considered it an appeal to organised labour in Nevada.
That’s a very interesting observation. Again, it’s the broader, inclusive vision.
