While the Comer controversy continues, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is considering approving an online Masters degree in Science Education offered by the Institute for Creation Research. The Dallas Morning News reports:

My pictures fail to capture the scale of the damage. One picture here, another there, fails to give a sense of how pervasive the damage is to the trees on campus. The trip onto campus this morning was really sad. Broken trees everywhere. South Oval is just devastated. We live in a slightly newer part of town, with younger trees, so I wasn’t prepared for the damage I saw. It was heartbreaking.
