Trip onto campus

The trip onto campus this morning was really sad.  Broken trees everywhere.  South Oval is just devastated.  We live in a slightly newer part of town, with younger trees, so I wasn’t prepared for the damage I saw.   It was heartbreaking.

Another night of ice

Although the temperatures are above freezing, there’s still a lot of ice out there. The ice brought down a lot of trees – onto powerlines, across roads, into buildings and cars. And as ice-laden as they are, more will probably fall before the ice melts.
