Tristero at Hullabaloo independently verifies the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. Looks like trinitarianism and dualism are right, after all.

I recently posted something on the meanings (plural) of life. I think that there is an important distinction to be made between meaning and explanation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the explanation of life, the universe and everything turned out to be an equation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer did in fact turn out to be 42. What would surprise me is if anyone, seeing the equation, felt their lives were more meaningful as a result. Except for physicists, of course!

I understand the point trying to be made from this blog entry, but if the explanation of life and the universe turned out to be a eqaution , then what happens to those who cant solve their equation. Does that mean they never existed?
