First it was O’Reilly, now Rush Limbaugh: talk radio wingnuts seem unable to utter Keith Olbermann‘s name. Limbaugh said:
We have a montage of this morning and last night, we have Joe Scarborough of MSNBC, John Roberts of CNN, Willie Geist, MSNBC, somebody else on MSNBC, and Nora O’Donnell.
And then went on to play the montage. “Somebody else on MSNBC” turned out to be Keith. Keith raised the issue with Rachel Maddow, asking her
Is there some magical power released by mentioning my name that they’re afraid of, and if so, could somebody let me in on the secret because I have not been using it effectively for forty-seven years.
But Rachel Maddow demurred, citing her fear of the wrath of the talk radio gods. As Keith said, it must be a Voldemort thing.
Also on Countdown: GOP Presidential candidate Fred Thompson apparently does not know that the Soviet Union no longer exists.
